Why delivery matters
Stomach acid is the reason delivery is designed for at all. MAKTREK® Bi-Pass is a two-stage system built to shield the strains on the way through, so they release further down. It is our manufacturer's technology — we have not run our own survival testing, and we do not publish numbers we did not measure.
Four strains, named
- Lactobacillus acidophilus (La-14) — the workhorse, for everyday digestive balance.
- Bifidobacterium lactis (Bl-04) — the bifido strain that supports a healthy gut environment.
- Lactobacillus plantarum (Lp-115) — the resilient one, at home in a busy gut.
- Lactobacillus paracasei (Lpc-37) — the finisher, rounding out the blend.
Fed by FOS, a prebiotic fibre — the "pre" in synbiotic. The label prints these four strains and the blend total of 800 mg at 40 billion CFU per serving; the individual doses inside that blend are the manufacturer's disclosure, and we print it exactly as given.
